Digital Liquid Mass Flow Meters / Controllers

Digital Liquid Mass Flow Meters / Controllers
As semiconductor devices get faster and levels of integration increase, more detail is required in device construction, to achieve this new materials are being introduced into the 300 mm wafer production process to increase production efficiency. As a result of this trend, there is now a larger variety of liquid sources and flow rates used in the semiconductor manufacturing process. More>>

pulse-input batch controller

pulse-input batch controller
The Laureate pulse-input batch controller is a powerful and highly accurate production workhorse in the form of a compact 1/8 DIN panel meter to control repetitive fill operations. It utilizes the Laureate FR dual channel pulse input signal conditioner and the Laureate dual relay board (8A contact or 120 mA AC/DC solid state relays). More>>

Computer Networking Flow Control

In computer networking, flow control is the process of managing the rate of data transmission between two nodes. This should be distinguished from congestion control, which is used for controlling the flow of data when congestion has actually occurred [1]. Flow control mechanisms can be classified by whether or not the receiving node sends feedback to the sending node.

Flow control is important because it is possible for a sending computer to transmit information at a faster rate than the destination computer can receive and process them. This can happen if the receiving computers have a heavy traffic load in comparison to the sending computer, or if the receiving computer has less processing power than the sending computer .

Fluid Process Flow Control

In a process plant or any particular process, flowmeters measure velocity, volumetric or mass flow. The data or output from these measurement devices can be use to control mixing, blending, diverting ,custody transfer or to control levels in tanks, pressure in vessels and other related processes. For example , a flowmeter may be used to vary the degree of opening/closing of a device known as a control valve which is reducing or increasing the flow of fluid to a tank. In a process plant, flowmeters can play an integral part in working with or controlling final element devices such as valves, actuators and other pneumatic, electronic or mechanical devices.
